Para recibir la visita de más de 20 mil turistas durante la celebración de Día de Muertos, autoridades estatales preparan el operativo en la región occidente. Serán instalados módulos de información desde los que harán la repartición de 30 mil folletos con el propósito de que tengan datos sobre los destinos turísticos que ofrece esta zona del Estado.
Los módulos de información serán colocados en la Presidencia Municipal, oficina de la Delegación de Turismo, Central Camionera, Ixtlán, Jiquilpan y Sahuayo. Cada uno estará atendido por 2 personas que serán las encargadas de orientar a los visitantes para que acudan a cada una de las actividades programadas para esa fecha.
En el municipio de Jiquilpan, considerado Pueblo Mágico, habrá una concentración de catrinas como el año pasado en que llegaron a mil 500. Para esta edición contemplan llegar por lo menos a 3 mil para que en 2017 busquen la ruptura del record Guinness, lo cual será posible con auxilio de los habitantes. A ello debe sumarse una serie de eventos culturales de primer nivel en el municipio.
“Las tradiciones ganarán terreno en la zona occidente a medida que los Ayuntamientos hagan la realización de eventos. Es importante que los gobiernos municipales no dejen de apostarle a la cultura porque finalmente es la forma de sensibilizar a las personas en relación al peso que deben tener las actividades mexicanas”, puntualizó Cecilia Amezola Aguilera, delegada regional de turismo.
Aseguró que el Día de Muertos es el segundo periodo más importante de afluencia después de Semana Santa, debido a que no sólo la zona de Pátzcuaro y Uruapan son las zonas con eventos culturales o tradicionales con relación a ese tipo de festividades.
“En esta región también tenemos la celebración que hará el Ayuntamiento de Tangancícuaro en el lago de Camécuaro. Este año habrá un evento diferente y será una actividad meramente familiar sin que haya la injerencia de alcohol por parte de jóvenes, debido a que se puede desvirtuar el sentido de las festividades”, dijo.
Subrayó que el gobierno municipal de Zamora aún no ha hecho llegar su programa con relación a la celebración del Día de Muertos, por lo que esperan que en próximas fechas hagan lo propio para convencer a las personas de la importancia que tiene el venir a esta localidad como lugar de descanso.
“No existe un histórico por año en lo que respecta a la cantidad de visitantes durante estas fechas, por lo que estaremos al pendiente de hacer un conteo para esta fecha y verificar cuáles son las áreas de oportunidad donde podemos mejorar”, concluyó.
