Desde hace años que los órdenes de gobierno se han desentendido de los sectores primarios de acuerdo a productores del municipio de Pajacuarán quienes lamentan la falta de apoyo para las contingencias que ha sufrido el agro de esta parte de la Ciénega.
Según Ignacio Magallón, líder de los ganaderos de esta región y productor de granos, desde hace décadas que la clase gobernante se ha desentendido de estos sectores productivos al grado de que, por ejemplo, la ganadería está está a punto de desaparecer por la falta de apoyos en temas como el respaldo para una mejor comercialización de sus productos o apoyos para mejorar las prácticas de ordeña.
El agro, dijo, también se encuentra completamente abandonado al grado de que en esta región se han sufrido tres co0ntingencias en lo que va del ciclo agrícola sin que haya habido respuesta por parte de los gobiernos.
“Primero perdimos por exceso de humedad, se anos anegaron tierras, luego por la resequedad, ya estamos perdiendo otra vez y ahora con las plagas como la del sorgo nos quedamos ya sin nada, y el gobierno no apoya nada, nos dejan solos”.
Señaló que en el caso de la plaga del pulgón amarillo el problema es que los productores no estaban preparados para enfrentarla porque se creía ya erradicada: “Cuando son plagas que uno sabe que están ahí, hace su guardadito, aparta pues el dinero para eso, pero ésta nos cayó de repente y nos agarró desprevenidos”.
Entre la falta de apoyos, las contingencias y la falta de solidaridad entre los propios productores, Ignacio Magallón señaló que en el caso de la ganadería se han estado despoblando intencionalmente los hatos y en la agricultura son cada vez más amplias las superficies que se dejan sin cultivos cada año.
