Con el cambio de sede de la “Vía Deportiva” se intensificó la actividad y participación de la ciudadanía, especialmente la mejora fue más notoria en el área infantil, ya que a los peques no se les borró la sonrisa acompañados de sus papás y en algunos casos también por sus mascotas.
La Regiduría de Juventud, Deporte y Capacidades Especiales, a cargo de Jaime Escobar Alfaro, se comprometió a encontrar aún más actividades e integrarlas al programa de actividad física, esto gracias a que la ciudadanía está absorbiendo esta cultura del deporte que se realiza en su nueva ubicación, sobre la Calzada Zamora-Jacona.
Durante el evento familias desarrollaron en el espacio designado paseo en bici, en patines, patinetas y caminando, hecho que afortunadamente logró cumplir sobre las expectativas para inyectarle nuevos bríos al evento, ya que afortunadamente quienes más disfrutaron de estas actividades fueron los niños y niñas.
Escobar Alfaro invitó a las familias zamoranas a tomar parte del evento, ya que es una actividad, que gracias a la alcaldesa Rosa Hilda Abascal Rodríguez, se está impulsando con fortaleza y que en cada edición se realizará de manera diferente donde también habrá gratas sorpresas.
La participación de la ciudadanía fue tan intensa que motivó a que los participantes se despojaran de sus preocupaciones por tres horas continuas, a través de las clases de aeróbics y zumba al aire libre; así como clases de kick boxing.
