Habitantes de las colonias La Lima y Jacinto López se quejaron de la operatividad de un depósito de chatarra ubicado sobre la Avenida del Bosque. El motivo es que han invadido las banquetas con desperdicios y obligan a los transeúntes a tener que caminar por el arroyo vial con el riesgo de ser atropellados, debido a que es una calle de un flujo vehicular importante.
“Allí no acaba el problema, porque desde su reciente instalación hemos tenido que padecer la fauna nociva como ratas, cucarachas y mosquitos que se generan porque no se hacen los manejos adecuados en la operatividad del inmueble, aunado a que no cuenta con una techumbre que impida el paso de agua pluvial, lo cual ocasiona que se genere una cantidad importante de mosquitos”, puntualizaron vecinos de las colonias que abordaron a EL INDEPENDIENTE.
Comentaron que otra situación por la que temen es que se pueda ocasionar un incendio durante la temporada de calor, debido a que se acumula una cantidad importante de plástico para reciclaje en el lugar y el riesgo es que se pueda expandir a las viviendas ubicadas en la calle Circunvalación, que están a espaldas del negocio.
“Hemos hecho reportes a las dependencias respectivas, pero hasta la fecha no hemos tenido una respuesta concreta al respecto; en su momento se le llamó la atención a la propietaria del negocio pero no pasó de allí y ha seguido con sus acciones que consideramos están fuera de la regularidad”, dijeron.
Mencionaron que lo ideal para el negocio sería buscar otra área que se encuentre alejada de la zona urbana porque tener basureros dentro de lo que son desarrollos habitacionales representa no solo riesgos sanitarios, sino también para la integridad física de las personas, en caso de que se genere un accidente.
En ese tenor, EL INDEPENDIENTE, trató de localizar a Felipe de Jesús Cortés Espinoza, oficial mayor, para verificar lo relacionado con la operatividad del depósito de chatarra; sin embargo no fue posible porque el funcionario no se encontraba en su oficina por haber acudido a una gira de trabajo fuera del municipio.
Personal de la dependencia municipal atendió de primera mano el llamado de los habitantes de las colonias mencionadas y procedieron a acudir al lugar para verificar el funcionamiento del negocio, con la consigna de que si no se apega a la regularidad puede ser clausurado el establecimiento.
Es importante añadir que durante la gestión de Eréndira Castellanos Pallares como Oficial Mayor, ya había recibido una advertencia el lugar de sujetarse a la ley y evitar ese tipo de riesgos; la propietaria se comprometió a revertir la situación, pero hasta la fecha el negocio se mantiene en las mismas condiciones.
