– “La pandemia nos digitalizó”: Jorge Alejandro Osuna

Con la entrega de medallas y reconocimientos a los grupos ganadores de los diversos retos, donde participaron estudiantes de primero de primaria a tercero de secundaria, quienes exhibieron las habilidades de diversos robots, se realizó hoy la clausura del Primer Torneo de Robótica, organizado por el Instituto Educativo de Zamora.
Cabe mencionar que el evento arrancó desde ayer en las instalaciones de esta institución, encabezó el acto Nancy Paulina Navarro Cervantes, rectora, quien expresó, “nuestro sistema se basa en una educación integral”.
Lo anterior, agregó, debido a que brindan a los estudiantes diversas disciplinas como música, danza, gimnasia y canto; además, desde nivel preescolar y hasta preparatoria, “se les imparte la asignatura de robótica y desde pequeños les inculcamos valores. Por lo que los estudiantes desarrollan múltiples habilidades para un desarrollo social y educativo exitoso”.
Mencionó que cuentan con una planta docente altamente calificada, incluso muchos con maestrías y doctorados a efecto de desarrollar entre el alumnado actitudes y aptitudes para poderse desarrollar en la sociedad.
Por otro lado, cuentan con tecnología a la vanguardia y por si fuera poco con clase de idiomas, donde los estudiantes pueden elegir inglés, francés o portugués.
En tanto, Jorge Alejandro Osuna Villanueva, coordinador de la asignatura de robótica expresó, “somos la única institución que tiene esa asignatura en diversos niveles educativos: prescolar, primaria, secundaria y preparatoria”.
Subrayó que, gracias a la asignatura de robótica, desarrollan diversas habilidades, “en nivel prescolar la quinestésica, la parte visual y auditiva, así como la destreza para armar piezas; en primaria estamos manejando robots solares y robots autónomos y seguidores de líneas donde los estudiantes arman, desarrollan, analizan y ponen en practica sus prototipos”.
Reveló que en secundaria manejan 3 tipos de robots: resuelve laberintos, con sensores ultrasónicos con diferentes lenguajes de programación para resolver diferentes tipos de retos; robots de seguidor de líneas para las grandes fábricas o construcciones y los robots jugadores de futbol, donde instruyen a los estudiantes a realizar aplicaciones en celular para encender cualquier sistema electrónico”.
“En preparatoria, somos la única escuela a nivel internacional, que contamos con simuladores electrónicos, realizados por zamoranos. Por lo que estamos desarrollando el trabajo colaborativo y muchas otras capacidades, como habilidad del pensamiento complejo, la creatividad, la investigación, etcétera para afrontar los requerimientos de la nueva industria”, resaltó.
Añadió, “la pandemia nos digitalizó, por lo que cada día debemos prepararnos más para ser mejores profesionistas. Ante las exigencias de la vida moderna, hoy más que nunca se debe apostar a una educación con ciencia y tecnología.
“La tecnología nos abre las puertas en todas partes. Hoy en día, persona que no sabe utilizar la tecnología, persona que se vuelve obsoleta, tenemos que avanzar conforme avanza la tecnología a pasos agigantados”, expresó.
Este primer torneo incluyó competencias de robótica, taller de programación, soldadura y armado de robots, exposiciones en inglés, presentaciones de música, danza y gimnasia.
