En la intención de garantizar la comunicación y traslado de los habitantes de las comunidades más alejadas se plantea en Villamar la construcción de un puente para evitar que las crecidas de los arroyos dejen incomunicadas a cerca de media docena de localidades.
Esto lo señaló el alcalde Froylán Zambrano quien destacó que, tradicionalmente durante la temporada de lluvias, los habitantes de localidades anexas a la tenencia de Jaripo quedan prácticamente incomunicados debido al incremento en el nivel del arroyo en el actualmente se trabaja ya en la construcción de un puente que permita dar continuidad al paso de personas y el trasiego de insumos agrícolas en esta parte del municipio.
Señaló que es en esta parte de la municipalidad donde por sus características geográficas se requiere de una puntual atención en cuanto al tema de mantener en buen estado las vías de traslado ya que se han dado casos en temporal de lluvias en que los maestros que atiendes escuelas en localidades como Benito Juárez y otras tienen que quedarse a dormir en las escuelas ante la imposibilidad de trasladarse a sus lugares de origen.
En ese sentido, destacó Zambrano López, se ha recurrido también al trabajo conjunto de los habitantes de estas regiones para poder fortalecer las acciones ya que a lo largo de varias administraciones municipales no se había logrado etiquetar recurso alguno para la construcción de este puente.
Vale destacar que de acuerdo a Jesús Meza, jefe de la tenencia de Jaripo, el tema de este puente fue solicitado a la autoridad municipal desde los primeros meses de la actual administración sin embargo se privilegiaron trabajos de relumbrón sobre los trabajos que remediarían verdaderas necesidades.
