Tigres de Zamora volvió a la carga mandando a toda la batería al campo de batalla ante la aguerrida novena de Atecucario, quienes por un largo trecho de la lid, detendría la agresión chonguera con buena defensa e iniciativa de arrojo; sin embargo, Zamora salió con la victoria en el score de 17-6.
El domingo se realizó la jornada del Torneo de Beisbol de Verano 2015 en el Diamante “Francisco González Ibarra”, de la Unidad Deportiva “El Chamizal”; este duelo en particular en sus inicios resultó digno de un colapso nervioso por las dificultades que presentaron los dos equipos para impedirse mutuamente avanzar en la pizarra.
Pero más tarde Torpedos de Zamora dio la sorpresa en casa, le voltearon la tortilla al equipo visitante, al que le sacudieron hasta el polvo para apalearlos en el marcador final que fue de 17 carreras por únicamente 6 de los atecucarienses.
Destacó durante el desarrollo del encuentro la intervención de Abraham “Meme” Hernández, quien en la tercera entrada conectó un home run con casa llena. Por Zamora abrió Alonso Leyva, con relevo de Francisco Díaz; mientras que por el lado atecucariense inició “El Rodo” y cerró Manuel Romero “La Pirca”.
No menos cardiaca resultó la batalla protagonizada en territorio de Diamantes de La Piedad, quienes recibieron la visita de Rojos de Jacona y después de una inacabable tira y afloja la pizarra, ésta se inclinó a favor del cuadro jaconense con pizarra de 7 carreras a 2.
El conjunto rebocero mandó al ataque a Pancho Béjar y Jacona optó por responderle a los piedadenses con Gustavo Torres “El Marro”, quien realizó una excelente labor sobre la loma; ambos aguantaron toda la ruta.
Rol de Juegos el domingo 19 de abril. A las 13:00 horas en “El Chamizal”, Tigres de Zamora recibirá a Cardenales de Ario. Asimismo, a las 2:30 p. m. en Atecucario, el cuadro local confrontará a Diamantes de La Piedad. Finalmente, también a las 14:30 horas, Jacona será anfitrión de Águilas Reales de Churintzio.
