“Los tecnológicos del estado y del país somos generadores de grandes talentos, de ingenieros altamente calificados, somos un sector de la educación superior muy importante, porque manejamos la competitividad educativa”, señaló Roberto Carlos Reyes Venegas, representante de la sección 61 de los Tecnológicos Federales.
En visita a esta ciudad con motivo de la sesión del Consejo Económico y Social de Michoacán (CESMICH) dijo que tan es así que el Tecnológico de Morelia, por tercera ocasión, fue condecorado como la mejor escuela de ingeniería.
Tal condecoración fue hecha por la Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior (ANUIES), “no obstante, egresan nuestros alumnos y se topan con que en Michoacán no hay fuentes de trabajo, corren a Querétaro, a Guanajuato o a otros estados”.
Agregó, “es muy preocupante que estemos sacando mano de obra calificada y estos se vayan a otros lados siendo mano de obra profesional. Por ello confío en que el CESMICH hará la vinculación con los 3 órdenes de gobierno y con el sector empresarial, a fin de generar las condiciones adecuadas”.
A pregunta expresa, indicó que no hay déficit de ingenieros, los que son competitivos y talentosos, “lo que faltan son oportunidades. En Michoacán, el problema educativo no está en el nivel superior, es en el nivel básico, con las dificultades de carácter político- sindical, dado que a los niños les obstaculizan el desarrollo educativo. Por lo que debemos apostar a la calidad educativa”.
Habló sobre las estrategias que se deben implementar para que no haya fuga de profesionistas, “se debe apostar al desarrollo económico, involucrar al sector económico y social, es decir, apostar a la inversión. Aquí en Michoacán desgraciadamente la inseguridad provoca que las inversiones se vayan a otro lado, por ejemplo, Guanajuato y Querétaro, donde también se van nuestros jóvenes”.
Consideró que también es necesario invertir en infraestructura carretera, “para el traslado de productos agrícolas y no todo se quede en producción, sino que también se aproveche a la industrialización. Y se invierta en ambas”.
Finalmente reiteró su confianza para que el CESMICH no sea un “elefante blanco”, sino que realmente generará propuestas encaminadas al desarrollo económico y social de Michoacán. “La sociedad civil ya estaba esperando un espacio para poder exponer nuestros problemas jurídicamente y que puedan tener un resolutivo porque es vinculativo, cooperativo y de desarrollo”.
