Grandes juegos durante la jornada dominical los equipos de la Liga Zamorana de Basquetbol, llenos de velocidad y presión a sus rivales, con la esperanza de llegar a la etapa culmine de dicha competencia, donde los más favorecidos por los resultados fueron los aficionados.
Uno de los más difíciles juegos se desarrolló entre las escuadras de Intermedia, Ecuandureo y Purépechas, quienes no tenían la más mínima intención de dejar ir los puntos en disputa, cada uno trabajó para lograrlo desde su inicio y hasta que se escuchó el silbatazo final. El equipo de Ecuandureo sacó el triunfo durante los minutos agonizantes del encuentro con resultado de 34 a 28.
Otro combate que cerró con reducido marcador fue el también protagonizado por el representativo de Ecuandureo y Vikingos, donde de nueva cuenta los ecuandurenses salieron triunfantes con score de 37-28 sobre los guerreros nórdicos.
En su compromiso, Tahúres tenía cierta ventaja en la pizarra y por poco le quitan la victoria, pero aseguró dramáticamente la ganancia en dígitos para que en los últimos instantes salieran avante con amplio score global de 52-24.
Por su parte Rockets alcanzó victoria al enfrentar a los integrantes del Cherpires. En el últimos primeros tres llamados los encestadores de Rockets se dedicaron a sumar puntos, para de esta manera asegurar el triunfo al cierre del encuentro con doblete de 30-17.
En más del deporte ráfaga Zamorano de la jerarquía Primera Fuerza, el quinteto de Monitos conservó la calma y el dominio del encuentro, para finalmente recetarle una paliza por 79 tantos a 42 al equipo de Ario.
