Con un espectacular duelo en domingo matinal memorable para los dos contendientes femeniles, arrancó el Torneo de Copa de la Liga DIA de Basquetbol del Valle de Zamora, especialmente para el equipo Sparks que obtuvo su recompensa después de sufrir interminablemente durante toda la contienda y la pizarra le favoreció por un dígito de diferencia 25-24, venciendo así de apretado a Roblop.
En juego libre varonil sobre las canchas de la Unidad Deportiva “El Chamizal”, por un momento se paralizaron los dos rivales porque en el último episodio del partido y a tan sólo unos segundos del final, Palmitas concretó algunos tiros doble para ganar 43-33 a Zorros B.
Con amplio margen en la pizarra, los estudiantes del Tec Zorros A Zamora después de usar tácticas de ataque y evasivas, se alzaron con la victoria sobre Hooligans B por 53-34.
Un duelo que cerró con amplio margen fue el protagonizado por Ballers, quienes sacudieron pulcramente el polvo que descansaba sobre el concreto para que finalmente con una gran diferencia en los dígitos, obtuvo la victoria sobre el equipo Hooligans A por 60-43.
En esta ocasión los pupilos del Cbtis 52 se retiraron del terreno de batalla con victoria de 57-36 sobre la escuadra linotipista de Imprenta Espinoza. Por su parte, Aztecas logró el triunfo por default con pizarra de 22-0 sobre Cachorros. Asimismo X-Figthers y TWD terminaron entre ellos perdiendo ambos por default.
La jornada dominical también vivió otro instante de parálisis en la categoría Juvenil, con resultado final que marcó 40 puntos para los Halcones, por solo 30 a favor de Dragones.
