Continúan los cursos de verano en los Centros de Desarrollo Comunitarios (CEDECOS) y en las instalaciones de los PREP (Programa de rescate de espacios públicos), mismos que arrancaron el pasado 25 de julio y concluyen hasta el 12 de agosto, señaló Rocío del Carmen Soto Delgado, presidenta del DIF.
Actualmente se ofrecen diversos cursos, tanto deportivos, artísticos y productivos en los CEDECOS de Valencia, Jacinto López, Miguel Regalado, El Vergel, así como en el PREP del Carmen y del Porvenir.
En todos estos se imparten una gama de talleres para los diversos gustos, desde futbol, danza, clases de guitarra, spinning, regularización de matemáticas y español, lenguaje de señas y taekwondo, entre otros, mismos que se imparten en un horario de 9 am a 1 pm, con un costo de 35 pesos, “la intención es que su precio fuera accesible, a efecto de que la gente de los sectores vulnerables lo aprovechen”.
Comentó que todas estas actividades se realizan en aras de construir el tejido social, “para prevenir conductas antisociales necesitamos mantener a nuestros niños y jóvenes ocupados en actividades de sano esparcimiento”.
Resaltó que esta es una estrategia encaminada a la construcción de la paz, “donde apostemos a la educación, el deporte, la cultura y evitar futuros dolores de cabeza”.
Aprovechó para agradecer a los empresarios que se sumaron a esta causa para poder cristalizar estos talleres, quienes aportaron material, bebidas y playeras para los participantes.
Finalmente dijo que al cierre de estos talleres se hará una clausura donde se realizarán diversas dinámicas para los participantes.
