Pescadores de Jalisco demandan que “arrieros” michoacanos incrementen en cuatro pesos el precio de compra de sus productos dijeron trabajadores de las redes de las regiones de San Luis Soyatlán.
De acuerdo a Isidro Ponce y Fernando Barajas, representantes de la Cooperativa Pesquera de San Luis, el precio que reciben por parte de los intermediarios michoacanos es del orden de los 6 pesos por kilo parejo, esto es, sin importar si el producto se trata de carpa o mojarra que en venta al detalle tienen un precio diferenciado.
Actualmente, dijo Isidro Ponce, cada incursión dentro del Lago de Chapala les reporta en promedio 50 kilos por embarcación pesquera, sin embargo los rendimientos deberán repartirse entre los pescadores y dejar una parte para los gastos de combustible.
Señaló que la idea es que los intermediarios o “arrieros” michoacanos puedan pagar, sin importar la especie, a diez pesos por kilo, lo que permitiría hacer más rentable la pesca para venta a intermediarios ya que la venta al detalle que hacen a bordo de la carretera federal les reporta hasta 20 pesos por kilo tratándose de carpa grande y de 25 tratándose de mojarra.
En lo que hace a la rentabilidad pesquera de esta región de acuerdo a Fernando Barajas, desde la extinción del pescado blanco en este embalse la rentabilidad ha decaído ya que esta especie era buscada afanosamente por los consumidores al grado de que un kilo de pescado blanco equivalía al doble de lo que se cotizaba un kilo de bagre.
“Con el pescado blanco, cada sábado teníamos mariachi y vino en el embarcadero después de pescar” dijo Isidro Ponce quien lamentó que, incluso, el bagre del Lago de Chapala es una especie en riesgo de desaparecer.
