“Desafortunadamente los empresarios no están formados ni preparados para exportar. Hace unos días el delegado de desarrollo económico en el estado decía que se habían exportado el año pasado un mil 600 millones de dólares. Eso es una gran mentira porque en la entidad solamente se produce el 17 por ciento del total país en frutas, verduras y legumbres. Es inverosímil pensar que esa cantidad es lo que comercializó al exterior Michoacán, es una cantidad exagerada”.
Señaló Roberto Cervantes Cruz, director de la oficina de la Cámara binacional México Estados Unidos, adscrita a la cámara México- Americana, capitulo 9 con sede en Guadalajara, agregó que la consolidación de mercados en el extranjero; así como el intermediarismo y la competencia,están generando incertidumbre en el empresario mexicano para la exportación.
“El mercado zamorano de fresa en Estados Unidos se está cerrando porque los gringos cada vez producen más. Antes, los agricultores de la frutillaprácticamente la empacaban en las parcelas para exportarla, y ahora el 99 por ciento es de proceso. No es lo mismo el costo de un producto seleccionado a un proceso, desafortunadamente vivimos a expensas de lo que está sucediendo allá en el nortepor lo que tenemos que reaccionar”, resaltó.
Dijo que es necesario que las cámaras empresariales organicen a sus agremiados a fin de capacitarlos en materia de exportación, de esa manera puedan proyectar escenarios de certidumbre, “por ello estamos propiciando el acercamiento con la Cámara Nacional de Comercio (CANACO). Tener un contacto directo de cámara a cámara y de proveedores con proveedores para fortalecer el intercambio comercial. La Cámara México Americana en Estados Unidos tiene 9 capítulos”.
Agregó “en el mes de abril la Cámara México Americana de Guadalajara tiene una convención con gente de Las Vegas. Ellos ya hacen una petición para certificar proveedores. Por ello tenemos que darnos a la tarea de buscar en México quien quiera proveer de esos servicios. Por ejemplo una empresa de Las Vegas pide mil servicios de línea blanca para los hoteles. Hay que ver quien los puede proveer”.
Sostuvo que “además ellos consumen al año un millón de litros de tequila. El que les está abasteciendo de tequila no es un mexicano, es un holandés. En Michoacán los grandes productores de fresa no son zamoranos, viene gente de Guadalajara, de México y comercializan lo que producen nuestros paisanos, desafortunadamente se llevan la lana. Eso es lo que está sucediendo, por ello tenemos que redoblar esfuerzos con nuestra gente, nuestra tierra y nuestro negocio. Hay posibilidades de hacer cosas diferentes”.
Así lo externó en rueda de prensa celebrada en instalaciones de CANACO acompañado de José García Velázquez, presidente de ese organismo empresarial, donde anunciaron que también en el mes de abril harán una capacitación a los empresarios de esta región sobre el tema de la exportación.
“Estará enfocado al comercio con EU y Canadá. Esta programada para el miércoles 29 de abril en lugar por definir. Participaran expositores de gran talla“, finalizaron.
