– Son hasta 20 reportes semanales los que se registran; lluvias podrían aminorar tendencia

No cede la quema de pastizales en la zona urbana debido a que continúa la actividad por parte de habitantes que determinan realizar esta práctica para preparar terreno agrícola o, en su defecto, evitar la molestia de tener que cortar la maleza de un predio que ha sido abandonado durante mucho tiempo.
Así lo dio a conocer Daniel Martínez Mora, coordinador municipal de protección civil, afirmó que se llegan a registrar hasta más de 20 reportes semanales, de manera que el desplazamiento de los Bomberos Municipales es frecuente hacia diferentes puntos del municipio o de la zona urbana para evitar que se salgan de control.
“Gracias a la coordinación que hemos establecido hemos podido llegar a diferentes lugares de manera oportuna. Se han dado incendios en viviendas, pero han sido ocasionados por otras causas no propiamente por la quema de pastizales; sin embargo, no podemos bajar la guardia en el tema y tenemos que ser conscientes en ese sentido”, dijo.
Concluyó al decir que la temporada de lluvias, ya cercana, contribuirá a que se puedan minimizar los casos de quema de pastizales y de allí que están atentos a la situación para que se pueda reducir la carga laboral y puedan tener mayor disponibilidad para atender otro tipo de contingencias entre la población.
