Nancy López Rincón, atleta zamorana de Tae Kwon Do, rindió tributo a su ciudad en la Etapa Regional consiguió boleto para la Olimpiada Nacional de TKD 2015 en la Categoría Infantil Menor en la División Light Heavy.
Los pasados viernes 06 y sábado 07 de marzo, en las instalaciones del Auditorio de Usos Múltiples de la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH), se llevó a cabo el Selectivo Regional Clasificatorio para las modalidades de Formas y Combate Libre, celebrado con 272 competidores de las delegaciones Colima, Jalisco, Nayarit y Michoacán.
El estado anfitrión obtuvo gran apoyo de las autoridades deportivas correspondientes, otorgándoles uniformes y asistencia médica, además del hospedaje y alimentación al permanecer concentrados durante los dos días de la competencia, demostrando así su alto nivel en esta justa, ya que de 102 posibles pases a Olimpiada Nacional se obtuvieron 92 de estos.
Cabe mencionar que se clasifican a la Fase Nacional, en el caso de este deporte, el primero y segundo lugar de cada modalidad, categoría y división; evento donde la zamorana demostró todo lo aprendido, desarrollando a la perfección todas las técnicas de la especialidad, por lo que se auguran excelentes resultados que honren a nuestro estado.
El Prof. Rubén Rincón, entrenador de Nancy López, mencionó que la selección michoacana de Taekwondo tiene grandes posibilidades de ser unas de las protagonistas de la Edición 2015 de Olimpiada Nacional; así como los taekwondoínes clasificados ya tienen la vista puesta en la justa nacional, que será del 24 de mayo al 5 de junio en Monterrey, Nuevo León.
