– Para niños de 5 a 11 años; padres de familia deberán estar atentos a refuerzo de dosis

Un total de 21 mil dosis lograron ser aplicada al término de la jornada de vacunación para niños de 5 a 11 años. La respuesta de los padres de familia durante los días programados para la aplicación de los biológicos fue importante para cumplir con la meta estimada.
Jaime Ramírez Oregel, director municipal de salud pública, informó que es importante que los papás de los menores estén al pendiente de las fechas para la programación del refuerzo de vacunación porque es necesario completar el esquema de dosis de los infantes para minimizar los riesgos de que se puedan contagiar de COVID 19.
Mencionó que, si por alguna razón quedaron niños pendientes de recibir la vacunación, es probable que se abra la oportunidad de que reciban el biológico en algún centro de salud; sin embargo, dependerá de la demanda que haya de las dosis respectivas porque el objetivo es que ningún infante se quede sin recibir la dosis.
Comentó que también es importante que los grupos de la población que ya recibieron refuerzos de vacunación estén al pendiente de cuándo pueden recibir un nuevo biológico para continuar con el aumento de su inmunidad ante las nuevas variantes de coronavirus que han resultado más contagiosas a las primeras cepas.
“La tarea que nos queda por el momento es no bajar la guardia y mantener las medidas preventivas para evitar contagios. Hay pasos importantes que hemos dado en la lucha contra esta enfermedad, pero todavía no podemos decir que ya está ganada en su totalidad por lo que es necesario mantener los cuidados”, finalizó.
