– Carlos Soto reconoció labor del COLMICH para fortalecer investigación
– Inició 4to Foro Nacional de Postgrados

“La educación superior debe ser pertinente con la idea de cambio o transformación. De ahí que tanto la política publica que fomenta dicha educación, como las instituciones que nos encargamos de instrumentarla, debemos ser congruentes con el hecho de que un cambio debe estar siempre direccionado a resolver problemas, rezagos y los apuros sociales que hay en el país”.
Señaló Roberto Arrioja, presidente del Colegio de Michoacán (COLMICH), esto en el marco del Cuarto Foro Nacional de Postgrados “El rigor científico y la pertinencia social en el sistema nacional de postgrados: una apuesta por la trasformación social”.
Cabe mencionar que el foro se inauguró este miércoles y se extenderá hasta el 1 de julio, contempla mesas de dialogo, talleres, ponencias y conferencias magisteriales.
Arrioja dijo que uno de los compromisos de mayor vigencia en el COLMICH, ha sido velar por una propuesta de educación superior que se encuentre al alcance de todos aquellos estudiantes que buscan profesionalizarse y participar en el desarrollo de este país.
Mencionó que, desde sus orígenes, el COLMICH ha recibido el apoyo del gobierno federal para que más de mil estudiantes en programas de maestria y de doctorado hayan obtenido una formación académica de más alto nivel.
Además, los estudiantes participan en el desarrollo de estudios e investigaciones que ayudan a entender las problemáticas nacionales, “regionales e internacionales y sobre todo, estos jóvenes han adquirido las herramientas necesarias para incursionar en el mundo laboral”.
“Por lo que nuestros postgrados, no solamente se reconocen por su calidad académica, sino también por cumplir una función de movilidad socio-económica muy importante, de ahí que la sinergia que existe entre el COLMICH, el CONACYT y la secretaria de educación pública, han facilitado que muchos de nuestros egresados asciendan una serie de peldaños en su vida económica y social”, destacó.
En su turno, Carlos Alberto Soto Delgado, presidente municipal de Zamora, expresó, “este evento es una ventana importante para presumir con orgullo al Colegio de Michoacán que trasciende y deja huella en el campo de la investigación, pero que también prepara a alumnos distinguidos en el ramo, siendo una de las cosas buenas que se proyectan del municipio hacia otras fronteras”,
Consideró que el foro planea debatir, mostrar y aprender, además de proponer nuevas experiencias que den ejemplo del compromiso y responsabilidad de la comunidad científica de Zamora, Michoacán y México para alcanzar los objetivos y conclusiones que ayuden a fortalecer a la sociedad.
