-Embotellamientos en 5 de Mayo y Juárez, pero desviaron tráfico por Vasco de Quiroga

Más de 20 mil visitantes habrá durante los 12 días de peregrinaciones que serán efectuadas rumbo al Santuario Guadalupano, de acuerdo a datos proporcionados por el padre Raúl Ventura Navarro, rector del recinto religioso, durante la homilía dominical en donde pidió a los feligreses llevar las festividades con el orden necesario y sin desvirtuar el sentido religioso fundado en la Virgen de Guadalupe.
Las peregrinaciones al recinto religioso iniciaron a partir de ayer con danzas y muestras de fe por parte de los feligreses que ocuparon ambos carriles de la calle 5 de Mayo para hacer su recorrido rumbo al recinto religioso; los recorridos iniciaron en punto de las 16:00 horas en donde elementos de la Dirección de Policía y Tránsito fueron quienes coordinaron la circulación para evitar afectaciones importantes.
José Adán Ureña Barajas, subdirector de tránsito municipal, dijo que fue requerido el auxilio por parte de la rectoría del Santuario Guadalupano para coordinar el recorrido de las peregrinaciones, ya que cuando vienen de sur lo hacen sobre el carril oriente, mientras que cuando hacen lo propio y vienen del norte ocupan el carril poniente.
“Cuando las peregrinaciones vienen de la calle Juárez del poniente de la ciudad, los elementos de la corporación tienen la indicación de desviar el tráfico por la calle Galeana o Pino Suárez, mientras que cuando vengan de 20 de Noviembre, harán lo propio por Vasco de Quiroga y cuando sea por la arteria de 5 de Mayo por las calles laterales como son Corregidora, Ocampo, Colón y Guerrero, si los vehículos circularan por la calle de 5 de Mayo, al momento del paso de los contingentes”, explicó.
Indicó que cada uno de los organizadores tiene la instrucción de hacer las marchas rumbo al Santuario Guadalupano en punto de las 16:00 horas, por lo que es necesario que respeten los horarios establecidos con el propósito de evitar accidentes y que se generen conflictos viales en diferentes puntos de la localidad.
En el operativo participarán 34 elementos de la Subdirección de Tránsito de los que habrá 6 motociclistas, 6 patrullas con 2 elementos cada una, además de 16 policías municipales que fueron apostados en cada uno de los cruces importantes de la calle 5 de Mayo.
Cabe añadir que las peregrinaciones culminarán el próximo 12 de diciembre con las festividades de la Virgen de Guadalupe en el Santuario Guadalupano, en donde está contemplado el cierre de la calle Ocampo por la instalación de comerciantes ambulantes en esa arteria.
