-Reforzará vigilancia de más de 400 mil habitantes y monitoreará más 500 cámaras

Este miércoles al mediodía fue inaugurado el cuartel regional de la guardia civil y C5 SITEG en el predio de La HUNUMERA de este municipio. El espacio tendrá capacidad para albergar 300 elementos de las fuerzas estatales que atenderán 12 municipios de la región Zamora, sumado a que con el centro de videovigilancia se podrá monitorear hasta 509 cámaras que han sido apostadas en 8 municipios para detectar vehículos con reporte de robo.
En el evento, el gobernador de Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, puntualizó que con el espacio se podrá brindar una respuesta oportuna en los municipios de la región con la operatividad que tendrá durante las 24 horas del día y celebró que finalmente se haya podido aterrizar una obra importante tras varios años de gestión para que se pueda brindar certeza a 413 mil habitantes que hay en esta zona de Michoacán.
Comentó que además desde el C5 SITEG se podrá observar la videovigilancia en 5 arcos carreteros para detectar vehículos con reporte de robo y atender las diferentes contingencias que se puedan presentar. El cuartel regional contará con comedor, dormitorios, estacionamiento y también áreas administrativas para el desempeño de diversas funciones de la Guardia Civil.
El mandatario estatal aprovechó el espacio para anunciar una reducción del 38 por ciento de los homicidios que se cometen en Michoacán, sumado a un 62 por ciento en esta región, debido al trabajo coordinado entre las diferentes fuerzas de seguridad de los municipios y también del Estado.
Finalmente, la síndico municipal, Isabel Aguilera Verduzco, aseguró que con la inauguración del cuartel de la guardia civil rumbo a la zona norte del municipio se protegen los 4 puntos cardinales del municipio, si se considera que hacia el sur están las instalaciones de la dirección de seguridad pública de Zamora, hacia el oriente el 17 Batallón de Infantería y la Guardia Nacional y hacia el poniente la Fiscalía Regional de Justicia.
