-A las 11 de la mañana junta previa con delegados de equipos para sorteo de juegos

El óvalo de campo A de la unidad deportiva El Chamizal será el espacio por donde desfilarán los equipos que participarán en el Torneo Estatal de Futbol, Sub-12 (Pony), “Niños Héroes” que será inaugurado este día a las 12 del mediodía, por las autoridades municipales y deportivas de la entidad; previo a ello a las 11 a.m. se llevará a cabo junta previa para las delegaciones participantes.
Luis Méndez león, presidente de la Liga Infantil-Juvenil de Futbol de Zamora (LIJF), precisó que en el evento participaran 16 equipos de la categoría Pony nacidos en el 2002-2003, y que el vencedor del torneo tendrá su pase directo al campeonato nacional “Será interesante observar a los chiquitines, que en un futuro pueden sobresalir en el futbol profesional”, apuntó.
Indicó que los encuentros se realizarán en las unidades deportivas El Chamizal y la Poniente, a partir de hoy jueves, el viernes, sábado y la final en el Chamizal el domingo próximo, por lo que serán cuatro días para que padres de familia lleven a sus hijos menores para que los incentiven en el deporte del futbol.
Méndez León, quien fue reelecto en días pasados para un nuevo periodo al frente de la Liga, mencionó que los juegos serán con dos tiempos de 30 minutos cada uno y que quien resulte campeón lo será de la Zona Norte que enfrentará al vencedor de la Zona Sur donde participan selectivos de Lázaro Cárdenas, Uruapan, Nueva Italia, Tacámbaro, Apatzingán, entre otros.
Por último refirió que el evento será inaugurado por la Alcaldesa Rosa Hilda Abascal Rodríguez, por el regidor de Juventud, Deporte y Capacidades especiales LCC Jaime Escobar Alfaro, quienes de igual forma tomarán la protesta a los chiquitines este día.
