-Pacientes llegan a manifestar enfermedad de 2 a 3 ocasiones

“Es una realidad que los casos de COVID van a la baja, pero hay una reincidencia de variantes entre la población, porque ahora lo novedoso es que quienes ya se contagiaron en una ocasión se llegan a enfermar 1 o 2 veces más con otras características y es algo que nos debe llamar la atención porque se puede dar un nuevo brote de ese tipo”, puntualizaron médicos expertos como Rubén Alfaro y Ramiro Espinoza en entrevista para EL INDEPENDIENTE TV.
Comentaron que a diferencia de meses pasados, ya no hay pacientes con cuadros graves u hospitalización, pero si personas que llegan de manera constante a los consultorios particulares con sintomatología que después se confirma como un cuadro de COVID y se debe prestar la atención debida porque hoy la población ha hecho confianza de un tema que no ha terminado en la actualidad.
Dijeron que a diferencia de otros meses también hay una etapa de relajación en torno al tema de COVID, porque es cierto que la curva de contagios va a la baja, pero lejos de predecir que está cerca el fin de la pandemia, la realidad es que sigue presente entre la gente porque los contagios, por más leves que sean los cuadros, siguen a la orden del día.
“El problema que nosotros observamos es que quienes han padecido coronavirus de 2 hasta 3 veces comienzan a desarrollar un probable estado crónico que puede tener como consecuencia afectaciones físicas entre la gente en el aparato respiratorio y a lo largo puede resultar perjudicial para otro tipo de situaciones”, mencionaron.
Finalmente agregaron que las consecuencias son arritmias, insuficiencias cardiacas, fibrosis pulmonar e incluso síntomas asociados a un paro respiratorio u otros procesos infecciosos que se llegan a manifestar y que requieren de hospitalización al tener la presencia del virus que se ha vuelto resistente a la vacunación.
