-Hubo repunte de más de 40 casos en Zamora y temen que siga en ascenso

Fue hecho un llamado enérgico a la población para no bajar la guardia en la lucha contra el COVID 19 derivado de que ayer se registrara un repunte de 42 casos positivos y 70 sospechosos en este municipio, según las cifras presentadas por la Secretaría de Salud del Estado.
Jaime Ramírez Oregel, director municipal de salud pública, enfatizó que la gente no puede confiarse en estos momentos en donde se requiere de mayor participación y atención para la prevención contra el coronavirus por lo que se deben mantener desde el hogar medidas como el uso del cubrebocas, gel antibacterial, sana distancia y lavado frecuente de manos.
Comentó que, si bien se han aplicado refuerzos de vacunación, no es una garantía total de que una persona no pueda volver a contraer coronavirus porque las variantes derivadas de ómicron han manifestado mostrar características o síntomas distintos al punto de que la enfermedad es más contagiosa.
“Lo más preocupante es que si no se adopta la prevención como una herramienta primordial, en esta lucha contra el COVID, es probable que aumenten o se mantengan los mismos niveles de contagios derivados de una quinta ola de la enfermedad registrada en el país”, dijo.
Finalmente agregó que el pico de contagios de esta nueva oleada está contemplado para el próximo 17 de julio por lo que es necesario que la gente se cuide en este momento para no tener alguna complicación en su estado de salud, aún cuando no se requiera de hospitalización.
