-David Melgoza, alcalde, anuncia que en evento también habrá entrega de becas para alumnos de nivel superior

El gobernador de Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, estará presente el próximo miércoles en Camécuaro para iniciar los trabajos de saneamiento del Río Duero con recursos estatales y con la firme intención de salvaguardar el recurso natural que es indispensable para el riego agrícola desde su nacimiento en Carapan hasta la cuenca Lerma – Chapala.
Así lo dio a conocer a EL INDEPENDIENTE David Melgoza Montañez, presidente municipal de Tangancícuaro, quien comentó que es un proyecto importante para dar un valor agregado a la producción agrícola y más si se considera que el líquido llega aguas abajo más allá del municipio de Zamora que también depende del recurso natural para fortalecer la producción.
Comentó que el Ayuntamiento ha hecho la parte que le corresponde con la limpieza del Río Duero desde Etucuaro para pasar por La Cofradía y llegar a la Guarucha, de donde han extraído más de 100 camiones con desechos de PET, llantas de auto y tractores, así como de árboles que funcionaban como diques.
“También hicimos lo propio en el Río Santuario que se conecta al Río Duero y también en vallados con dos propósitos: el primero consistente en evitar que llegue basura al Río Duero y el segundo en generar las condiciones para que no se presenten inundaciones o encharcamientos entre la gente. A la postre pondremos unos micro colectores para buscar que el agua llegue tratada para beneficio de la población”, explicó.
Mencionó que se tiene contemplado construir una planta tratadora de aguas residuales en los márgenes del Río Duero y para ello van a requerir el apoyo de la Federación debido a que son proyectos necesarios, pero con alta inversión.
En otro orden de ideas, dijo que la visita del mandatario estatal también será marco para que se haga la entrega de 130 becas a alumnos del nivel superior con el propósito de que continúen sus estudios y evitar la deserción escolar. La intención es que el gobernador de Michoacán sea padrino de esta generación a la que se entregará lo correspondiente a mayo, junio y julio.
“Este programa es producto de la transparencia con que se han manejado los recursos del lago de Camécuaro de los que se pretende que tengan un fin específico, porque queremos contribuir a que los jóvenes tengan un mejor porvenir sumado a las capacitaciones que les hemos brindado en educación ambiental», finalizó.
