-No debe haber preocupación de la población al consumir carne

En lo que va del presente año no se ha detectado ningún caso de clembuterol en el ganado que llega al matadero municipal, por lo que el administrador de dicho lugar, Rogelio Gómez Contreras, hizo un llamado a la población a que consuma carne sin preocupación alguna.
Detalló que diariamente sacrifican un promedio de 40 reses y 100 cerdos, previamente verifican que el ganado este en buenas condiciones, “antes de pasar al proceso de matanza, un veterinario checa varios aspectos con el fin de que los animales estén en condiciones favorables para tranquilidad de los consumidores”.
“Cuando el animal no está en condiciones para su consumo, lo decomisamos e incineramos, afortunadamente durante este periodo no hemos tenido problema en ese sentido, toda vez que todo el ganado introducido diariamente a este rastro está en buenas condiciones”, indicó.
Agregó que “las circunstancias para determinar si está o no bien el ganado, lo determina el médico, por lo que no sabría decirle yo a ciencia cierta cuáles serían los factores para establecer dicho criterio, eso sí no debe tener alguna enfermedad o presentar clembuterol”.
Subrayó que a fin de seguir dignificando las condiciones del rastro y seguir ofreciendo un producto de calidad al consumidor, trabajan en darle un cambio favorable a la imagen del rastro, para ello pintaron todas las áreas donde se encuentra la producción.
Finalmente reconoció que aún quedan necesidades por cubrir en el matadero municipal, “nos falta algo todavía por arreglar en el área de proceso, tenemos mesas de concreto que necesitamos cubrir con acero inoxidable y algunas partes deterioradas de las paredes que también debemos reparar”.
