Francisco Cardoso Linares ve de manera muy especial su actividad deportiva y quien a pesar de ser tenista con capacidades especiales, esto le ha dado la pauta para compartir y alentar a los jóvenes zamoranos su testimonio de vida y éxito, deportista con reconocimiento internacional en el Tenis Adaptado de Pie, modalidad para personas con amputación.
La mañana del miércoles pasado, personal directivo, servicio social, voluntariado del CRI Promotón Zamora, alumnos del Centro de Estudios Superiores de Zamora AC, tuvieron la oportunidad de escuchar el testimonio de vida Francisco Cardoso; la actividad pudo realizarse gracias a las facilidades otorgadas por el Lic. Roberto Salcedo Quintero, director de la institución.
Francisco Cardoso Linares venció al tenista Dagoberto Esponda con un amplio marcador de 8 a 2, en el Country Club de Guadalajara, a quien le ganó, no obstante la diferencia de capacidad física. Es importante recordar que en octubre de 2012, Cardoso Linares se presentó con éxito en el Club La Hacienda de esta ciudad.
Integrantes del Centro de Rehabilitación Integral CRI-Promotón de Zamora llevan a cabo acciones de boteo y concientización sobre la prevención de accidentes y respeto a las personas con discapacidad, en instituciones educativas, como parte de la Campaña del 17° Promotón, la cual dio inicio el pasado martes.
Durante la charla a los jóvenes, Francisco Cardoso mencionó la importancia de reducir riesgos de accidentes, respetar a las personas con discapacidad y ser solidarios con causas nobles como el CRI-Promotón.
Recordó que a sus 16 años de edad, cuando formaba parte de las fuerzas básicas del Club Morelia, sufrió un golpe en la pierna izquierda durante un entrenamiento, provocando una lesión que requirió intervención quirúrgica, situación que se complicó tras un cuadro infeccioso de alto riesgo que terminó con la amputación de su pierna.
Así mismo, mencionó que después de un tiempo de preparación psicológica, terapias de rehabilitación física y una prótesis, logró superar muchos miedos, continuar con sus estudios y responder a la inquietud de practicar el tenis de manera profesional, lo anterior gracias al apoyo de su padre, quien lo motivó en unas vacaciones a pisar la cancha y tomar una raqueta.
Por su parte, la Lic. Marisela Oseguera Guzmán, directora del CRI agradeció la participación de Francisco Cardoso, Ingeniero de profesión, campeón mundial del Tenis Adaptado de Pie y padre de familia; señalando que es una experiencia de vida que deja un aprendizaje muy valioso para los jóvenes, ser responsables con su salud, luchar por sus sueños y construir una vida plena y en armonía.
Oseguera Guzmán aclaró que para el Patronato Forjadores de Esperanza del Valle de Zamora y para el CRI-PROMOTÓN, es necesario no sólo pedir el apoyo de los estudiantes, sino llevar el mensaje de la prevención de accidentes, así como de la importancia de la rehabilitación física y la manera en que miles de personas han mejorado su calidad de vida en el CRI.
Antes de finalizar la psicóloga, Mireya Acosta Pedroza, orientadora vocacional del Departamento de Psicopedagogía de la Institución, mencionó que este tipo de charlas complementan la formación integral de los muchachos, quienes están en una etapa de toma de decisiones; consideró que el testimonio de Francisco Cardoso es muy motivador, ejemplo claro de superación y constancia; un hombre que logró vencer la discapacidad y traducirla en éxitos personales, profesionales y familiares.
Cabe mencionar que el CRI inició a principios de mes con las visitas a escuelas primarias, secundarias y preparatorias, tanto públicas como privadas; así como a Universidades, con la finalidad de dar a conocer también los servicios que se ofrecen en el Centro y las actividades que se realizan para la recaudación de fondos como lo es el boteo y el evento anual del CRI, llevado a cabo cada 30 de abril en la Plaza Principal de Zamora.
