Un total de 30 por ciento estiman que repunten las ventas en el comercio ubicado en el centro de la ciudad durante lo que será la Semana Santa que inicia a partir del próximo lunes. Los locatarios esperan que los recursos alcancen para mantenerse al menos hasta la mitad del año porque han operado en condiciones críticas en materia de recursos.
“No hemos superado la crisis que hay en el comercio porque simplemente no hay circulante entre la población y apenas alcanza para que podamos pagar por la renta del local y para cubrir el salario de 1 a 2 trabajadores como máximo”, informó Raymundo Rodríguez Rivera, vicepresidente de CANACO.
Comentó que incluso hay quienes han tenido que recortar a la mitad sus fuentes de empleo porque simplemente no alcanza el dinero para que puedan cubrir los gastos de operatividad en los establecimientos, ya que además deben cubrir servicios y otros impuestos anuales que representan una carga pesada para los locatarios.
