– Será el 14 de agosto “El Holirun, corriendo por la juventud”

El próximo domingo 14 de agosto se realizará en Zamora el “Holirun, corriendo por la juventud”, en conmemoración al día internacional de la juventud (12 de agosto).
“No se trata de una competencia, sino de una carrera de convivencia, de colores y diversión. Iniciará a las 9 am en la avenida Manuel Gómez Morín hasta Arboledas y retornarán al punto de inicio”, informó. Alejandra Garibay, Jiménez, directora de juventud en conferencia de prensa.
Convocan a jóvenes de 15 a 29 años, sin embargo, también podrán incorporarse familias completas, desde mamás con sus carriolas, niños y jóvenes en patines o bicicleta e inclusive pueden llevar mascotas.
Dio a conocer que se trata de una carrera totalmente gratuita, sin embargo, es con causa, ya que están solicitando a los asistentes donar alimentos de la canasta básica y juguetes, que los organizadores entregarán posteriormente a POBLADORES de colonias vulnerables de la periferia de este municipio.
En las redes sociales del “Buen Gobierno”, se estará publicando la liga para que se inscriban los participantes, quienes también lo podrán hacer el día del evento, o bien pueden registrarse directamente en la dirección de la juventud.
Diego Martínez Serna, encargado de despacho de la dirección de deportes, indicó que la intención es involucrar a los jóvenes, no sólo en actividades deportivas, sino altruistas en aras de reconstruir el tejido social, “más que una competencia, es una fiesta”. La carrera contempla 3.5 kilómetros.
En su turno, Felipe Armando Umaña Melo, secretario del ayuntamiento, detalló que “Holi” se trata de un concepto hindú que se utiliza para dejar el mal clima y el mal temporal, para dar apertura al inicio de la primavera.
Para los hindúes, agregó, es un festival de colores “en nuestro caso, hemos aterrizado este concepto para dejar atrás las adversidades. Venimos de una pandemia, que continua, pero ya de una manera más controlada, ya tenemos herramientas como las vacunas que nos hay ayudado a mitigar el problema de contagios”.
Son tiempos difíciles, destacó el funcionario, “el holirun es dejar atrás, todo lo que nos ha golpeado como sociedad. Se trata de un parteaguas, de un nuevo comienzo, de una juventud más libre y con ideas más renovadas”.
Al finalizar la carrera, tendrán un festival en la avenida Gómez Morin con diversas actividades y dinámicas para los jóvenes a quienes les obsequiarán diversos artículos de los patrocinadores. Esperan la participación de más de mil jóvenes de Zamora y municipios aledaños.
