– Buscará gestionar recursos para poner en funcionamiento el espacio en La Rinconada; requieren 60 millones de pesos
– Extensión de medicina en Tangancícuaro exige mantenimiento y adecuaciones

“Ya nos entregaron las escrituras del terreno del campus de Zamora, ubicado en la comunidad de La Rinconada, no contábamos con estas y por eso había obstáculos al gestionar recursos para el proyecto, pero ahora con esa certeza jurídica del inmueble ya podremos gestionar recursos ante el gobernador de Michoacán, tenemos pláticas al respecto”.
Señaló Raúl Cárdenas Navarro, rector de la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolas de Hidalgo (UMSNH), agregó que las gestiones también se hacen con el presidente municipal de Zamora, Carlos Soto Delgado “y otros alcaldes de la región para que juntos sumemos esfuerzos hacia ese objetivo”.
Detalló que para concluir la obra de infraestructura de este campus al 100 por ciento se requieren por lo menos 60 millones de pesos, además de que se deberá garantizar mantenimiento al inmueble, ya que, por lo años de abandono, presenta deterioro a consecuencia de la humedad, “también se requiere mejorar los accesos para garantizar seguridad”.
En evento desarrollado en Camécuaro, por otro lado, mencionó que también han estado al pendiente de la extensión de la facultad de medicina “Dr. Ignacio Chávez” asentada en este municipio, donde, dijo, se requiere construir un aljibe, la barda perimetral, un anfiteatro y un pozo profundo”.
Al respecto, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, gobernador, dijo que además del campus de Zamora, también está inconcluso el de Uruapan, “ambos los vamos a atender, este año ya deberá estar en funciones el de Uruapan”.
En cuanto al de Zamora, añadió, “tenemos que proyectarlo y estar listo seguramente en el 2023. Este año definitivamente no se reanudarán las obras de construcción en el de Zamora, no podemos solucionar en 8 meses, lo que en 14 años no se ha logrado, pero nuestro compromiso es concluirlo y que esté operando bien”.
En entrevista por separado, Héctor Padilla Aguirre, director del campus de la Facultad de Medicina de Tangancícuaro, dijo que es urgente en este edificio construir la barda perimetral para garantizar seguridad a los estudiantes, toda vez que a un costado de esta institución han ocurrido hechos delictivos.
“También en las inmediaciones del plantel representan un peligro inminente, ya que frente al plantel se hacen constantes operativos por parte de los elementos de la Policía Michoacán, y un día, Dios no lo quiera, vaya a suscitarse una balacera, nuestros estudiantes y docentes corren peligro”, destacó.
Finalmente, en tono molesto, reveló que con recurso de los estudiantes y de la propia institución mandaron a hacer un carril de desaceleración en la carretera que conduce a la extensión, “pero este ha sido invadido por los elementos policiacos, para revisar a la gente”.
