– Impide poder transparentar y hacer eficiente la atención en materia de salud

El 40 por ciento de las personas que asisten a poner una queja ante la Comisión Estatal de Arbitraje Médico de Michoacán (COESAMM) desiste de continuar con el proceso por temor a perder la derechohabiencia ante un régimen de seguridad social o represalias por la parte médica, si se trata de nosocomios privados. La situación impide que se pueda transparentar y hacer eficiente la atención en materia de salud.
Así lo dio a conocer Ana González Márquez, titular del módulo del organismo autónomo, quien comentó que, al no dar seguimiento a las quejas presentadas, los actos en donde posiblemente existe negligencia médica o que podrían ser sujetos a un proceso para mejorar el trabajo de los médicos se quedan sin ser atendidos y en consecuencia se mantienen las conductas que van en contra de la mejora en materia de salud.
“Hay quienes llegan a pensar que cobramos por la atención, pero aclaramos que el servicio y acompañamiento son totalmente gratuitos. No se cobra un solo peso y siempre buscamos que los procesos terminen de la mejor manera, ya sea por medio de una audiencia de conciliación entre las partes involucradas o hasta un arbitraje que es donde ya interviene un tribunal para determinar quién tiene la razón”, explicó.
Finalmente, agregó que los procesos tardan de 60 a 90 días para llegar a una audiencia de conciliación y en muchas de las ocasiones se pide a la víctima que especifique qué solicita para la reparación del probable daño realizado. Lo más importante es que si inician el proceso no renuncien a llevarlo a cabo hasta que haya una resolución para la procuración de justicia en este tipo de casos.
