Un total de 23 millones de pesos buscarán obtener para continuar con la construcción del centro de atención Tata Keri ubicado en el municipio de Tangancícuaro. Hasta el momento van invertidos 4 millones de pesos en el espacio que tiene por objetivo ofrecer albergue a los ancianos de la región que por alguna razón no cuentan con un hogar.
“Los recursos invertidos son producto de las aportaciones de feligreses y de ciudadanos que están decididos a colaborar con esta causa social. Lo que necesitamos es que las autoridades entrantes de la región destinen recursos para el proyecto porque no solo es para Tangancícuaro, es para todos los municipio de la Entidad que ofreceremos este servicio”, aseguró José Antonio Torres Partida, sacerdote encargado de la obra.
Comentó que actualmente el espacio cuenta con 32 habitaciones para dar albergue a un total de 64 ancianos en condiciones vulnerables. Cuenta con un oratorio para que los adultos mayores puedan realizar sus rezos, pero la intención es que se pueda acrecentar el inmueble que está asentado sobre una hectárea de terreno.
Indicó que incluso ha sido hogar para jóvenes que habitaban en el albergue de Mamá Rosa, debido a que desde que fue intervenido el lugar por la Procuraduría General de la República nadie a hecho nada para arropar a los jóvenes y niños que residían en ese lugar con excepción del DIF Estatal que apenas tiene alrededor de 30 infantes recluidos en Morelia.
“Otros están dispersos en las calles o a la intemperie y es allí donde cuestiono el interés que también deben ponerle las autoridades municipales para abrigo a los jóvenes que se encuentran desamparados. Cuando hay voluntad se pueden evitar esos detalles y el hecho de que se encuentren en el abandono porque quienes han llegado a Tata Keri han reclamado la falta de oportunidad para reintegrarse a la sociedad después del cierre del centro donde residían”, dijo.
Aseguró que a lo largo de varios años solo obtuvo el auxilio de las ex diputadas locales Rosita Molina y María Eugenia Méndez Dávalos, que de manera desinteresada lo auxiliaron con material de construcción para fortalecer la obra.
“Esperamos tener eco con las autoridades entrantes e incluso con el Gobierno del Estado para terminar este proyecto que aspira a ser uno de los más grandes en la Entidad. Más que rezos y otros ritos religiosos, me importa la vocación de servicio a la comunidad, principalmente a las personas más necesitadas”, finalizó.
Cabe añadir que el sacerdote José Antonio Torres Partida recibió la presea José Sixto Verduzco por parte de la Asociación de Periodistas del Valle de Zamora (ASPEVAZA), en el marco de un acto cívico que fue realizado en la Rotonda de los Hombres Ilustres a donde asistieron autoridades municipales de Zamora, Jacona y Tangancícuaro, así como representantes de cámaras de comercio y de la sociedad.
