“A los gobernantes les interesan solamente los que votan y los niños pequeños no”, lamentó María Ampudia, activista

En la reciente visita de Maria Ampudia, activista, presidenta de la Asociación Civil ¿Y quién habla por mí? reveló que fue nombrada consejera de la Comisión Nacional de Derechos Humanos (CNDH) y desde ese lugar pugnará por la puesta en marcha de una fiscalía a favor de la infancia con presencia en Michoacán y los diversos estados de la República Mexicana.
Así lo informó en entrevista para este rotativo, “con esta fiscalía ya vamos a tener mucho más fuerza para llegar a todos y cada uno de los casos, y, sobre todo, hacer una labor de prevención para que los padres entiendan que al niño no se le puede domar; al niño hay que educar. Las consecuencias de esta omisión eterna que hemos hecho de los niños son maltratos hacia nuestros hijos y se esconden con el pretexto “yo hago con mi hijo lo que quiero”.
Eso da como resultado, dijo, la cantidad de crimen que hay en las calles y “de gente que tenemos en la cárcel. Si vas y platicas con ellos, todas sus historias vienen arrastrando una situación de maltrato, de abuso, de omisión, de abandono”.
Agregó “hemos logrado como comisión poner el nombre de la infancia en los escritorios más importantes. Michoacán no está hecho a un lado, ya hemos estado muy de cerca, ya estuvimos en el tema mamá Rosa, hemos visitado otros albergues y vamos a seguir cerca. ¡Cuando se trata de niños no cierro los ojos, los abro!!. Michoacán esta en un lugar preocupante en maltrato infantil y ocupa uno de los primeros lugares a nivel nacional en el tema de abandono infantil”.
Dijo que “como fundación, lo nuestro son los bebés, por eso se llama ¿Y quién habla por mí?, pero dada la problemática que hay en el país, hemos tenido que abarcar también la segunda y hasta la cuarta infancia, pero lo hacemos con mucha dignidad y responsabilidad”.
Explicó “la fundación tiene 4 años de haber sido implementada por haber estado trabajando en el senado de la República en la comisión nacional contra trata de personas y es dónde vimos que estaba la trata de los pequeños que se nadie hablaba por ellos y por eso le pusimos ¿Y quién habla por mí?, porque realmente nadie visualizaba que estaba pasando en el tema de trata con los más pequeños.
Sostuvo que lamentablemente a los gobernantes sólo les interesan los que votan y los niños pequeños no, “siendo que la primera infancia debe ser un tema prioritario. Por ello decidimos ponerle nombre a la situación que estaban viviendo los niños”.
Explicó que desde la trinchera de su fundación están asesorando para hacer leyes, “entre estas la ley general de adopción que saldrá pronto, estamos atendiendo todo lo que tienen que ver con niños que son sacados del país con castigo al padre o la madre, también estamos con los registros civiles para que redoblen esfuerzos para que los infantes tengan acta de nacimiento”.
Hay ocasiones, dijo, que los padres no le dan valor a contar con el acta, “sin este documento un niño no pertenece, sencillamente no es nadie; pero a lo que más estamos dirigiendo la fundación es a casos extremos donde nos buscan pidiendo apoyo. En el caso de abuso infantil, maltrato lo que hacemos es ir por los niños y llevarlos albergues del DIF o que estén documentados”.
Informó finalmente que esta semana la fundación ¿Y quién habla por mí? será honrada con un honoris causa que les entregará la UNESCO, “reconocimiento que nos internacionaliza, nos permite llevar la voz de los niños a todas partes del mundo, nos da la oportunidad de brincar a otro panorama”.
