-Detectó IMAH durante la campaña “la salud del hombre”

El Instituto de Medicina Avanzada y Humanística (IMAH) ha detectado un aumento en la depresión y la ansiedad en el varón, sobre todo mayor de 40 años. Esto debido a las presiones económicas, la disfunción eréctil, el insomnio, los malos hábitos alimenticios, la obesidad, las enfermedades crónico-degenerativas, el alcoholismo, el tabaquismo, entre otros factores señaló el doctor Juan Bosco Martínez, presidente de la fundación IMAH.
De igual forma este incremento en la depresión obedece a la forma de vida actual “todo es mercantilismo, todos queremos dinero. Estamos comparando el éxito con los recursos económicos y siendo sinceros sólo el 10 por ciento de toda la población tiene recursos, los demás tenemos que trabajar arduamente para poder vivir”.
Esta problemática en el hombre se ha diagnosticado en el marco de la 10ª campaña de salud del hombre, en la que se busca enseñar a los varones de cómo pueden prevenir la mayoría de las enfermedades, dado que tiene como objetivo, informar, prevenir y detectar patrologías. Esta arrancó hace una semana y se extenderá a los largo de 3 semanas más. “queremos prevenir para que en 10 años no haya tanto problema de cáncer, diabetes, infartos o depresiones”.
Indicó que la depresión y la ansiedad son las causantes del incremento de la violencia intrafamiliar que se vive en la actualidad, “no solo del hombre hacia la mujer, sino de la fémina hacia su pareja”.
Subrayó que a lo largo de esta campaña se han atendido alrededor de 200 pacientes. La mayoría de las patologías que se han detectado son: obesidad, diabetes mellitus, hiperplasia prostática, disfunción eréctil; y sobre todo depresión y ansiedad.
Reiteró “esto obedece a todo el estrés social derivado por la forma de vida que tenemos actualmente. Las personas llegan con exceso de ansiedad”.
Mencionó que es importante que los varones consideren lo siguientes recomendaciones “someterse cada 6 meses a una revisión general de salud, hacer actividad física, consumir menos cantidad de carne, leche y lácteos; disminuir el azúcar y la sal al mínimo, evitar el alcohol y tabaco. No traspasarse en los alimentos. Aunque la recomendación número uno es llevar una vida sin tantas presiones económicas”.
Mencionó “esta campaña consta de una valoración nutricional mediante una báscula de doble impedancia, única en su tipo en Zamora, que a través de una corriente eléctrica y un software permite identificar con exactitud la cantidad de grasa existente, en que parte del cuerpo se concentra, si hay retención de agua dentro de las células y cómo está la masa muscular en cada parte del cuerpo. Además de que incluye una valoración nutricional, un análisis sanguíneo en el que se valoran 70 parámetros, en las que se hacen pruebas del funcionamiento del hígado y la función del riñón”.
Agregó “se hace un diagnóstico para ver si existe síndrome metabólico, dado que este es el promotor de muchas enfermedades, entre ellas la diabetes mellitus, el cáncer y la disfunción sexual; asimismo valoramos la función medular, se hace un examen general de orina y la prueba del antígeno prostático para detectar o descartar cáncer de próstata, un ultrasonido. También identificamos patrones de ansiedad y depresión”.
Indicó que esta campaña en relación a las anteriores tiene como novedad que se enfoco a detectar problemas más metabólicos, emocionales y disfunción eréctil”, finalizó.
