El próximo 17 de Septiembre de 5 pm a 12 am en la plaza principal de Cherán se llevará a cabo El Primer Festival de Fuego la palabra, organizado por el Colectivo Cultura Libre Coculi en coordinación con el consejo de Jóvenes de Cheran y el apoyo de instituciones como el Centro Regional de las Artes de Michoacán (CRAM), el Colegio de Michoacán (Colmich) y la Casa de Cultura del Valle de Zamora, informó Karla González Díaz, integrante del citado colectivo.
Señaló que el festival que será gratuito, reúne exponentes del “rap consciencia” de los municipios de esta región como Zamora, Uruapan, Los Reyes y Morelia.
Por lo que participan agrupaciones como libre Xpresión, Déjame Pensar, Daner Zerteroz, Sil Funky Beat, África Malinke, Konnex KNX, Sector 43 MC Khar, Threnk Asm Reyes del Stilo mexika, Rosking industria sucia, Tarasco Son Sistema (DJ que mezcla cumbias y salsa) y Kaliche y sus amigos musicales y literatura Kamikaze. Pero con la participación de Pedro Mo, rapero peruano, se convierte en un encuentro internacional
“Las mismas agrupaciones son las que componen esta música de rap consciencia, es decir con tematices de cuestiones sociales y políticas. Confiamos en que a través de la palabra se pueden erradicar muchos problemas sociales y políticos. Somos lo que decimos, nos vamos contrayendo a través de la palabra y el lenguaje, por eso encontramos en el género del rap un arma muy fuerte para gritar y decir lo que no nos gusta. A través del discurso del rap, hecho palabra nos manifestamos”, añadió.
Dijo, “La intención de este Festival es crear un puente de intercambio cultural y artístico. Los jóvenes estamos ansiosos de conocer y aprender y es en la palabra donde encontramos en la palabra el motivo para hacerlo. El nombre del festival lo dice y también se relaciona con la historia y los procesos de la comunidad de Cherán, preferimos la palabra como arma para hablar de las cosas que no nos gustan y que estamos intentando vivir de otra manera”.
Señaló que eligieron Cherán porque representa un icono en cuanto a luchas sociales se refiere, “es una comunidad que se rige a través de usos y costumbres. Es un ejemplo para todos. Pues cabe recordar que derivado del problema de la tala clandestina que se había agudizado desde el 2008 en su territorio por la avaricia de algunos partidos políticos, el 15 de Abril del 2011 el pueblo decidió levantaron en armas para defender sus bosques, y expulsar a los partidos políticos y hasta la fecha se han regido mediante usos y costumbres”.
Añadió, “La palabra ha sido fundamental en todos sus procesos en la comunidad de Cherán, si no hubiera una comunicación entre la misma comunidad, este proceso que están viviendo sería imposible. Así debería de ser en todas partes, regirnos en base a lo que realmente quiere el pueblo y no lo que vienen unas minorías a través del gobierno a imponer”.
Para este festival esperan asistentes no solo michoacanos, sino también de ciudades como Guadalajara, Querétaro, Ciudad de México, entre otros.
Erick Alba, director del CRAM, señaló que se trata del primer acercamiento que tienen las instituciones culturales, a una comunidad que ha desarrollado una historia de lucha por la reivindicación de su identidad, “ Cherán, no es la única población que ha desarrollado este tipo de lucha, pero si es la más visible. Al momento de que el CRAM apoya esta acción cultural, contribuimos al reconocimiento de nuevas formas de organización comunitaria”.
