-Disminuyen 70 por ciento, lo atribuyen a mayor capacitación a ruleteros

Hasta 70 por ciento disminuyeron los incidentes viales en donde se veían involucrados transportistas. De 20 casos que se presentaban por mes, hoy solo hay un promedio de 5 accidentes en los que no solo los conductores de los microbuses tienen responsabilidad, sino también los particulares, debido a que manejan de manera imprudente.
“Siempre que hay un accidente en donde hay un microbús involucrado se le echa la culpa al ruletero, pero las personas no se ponen a analizar que un motociclista o automovilista es quien realmente tuvo la culpa del incidente por manejar de forma imprudente”, puntualizó Aarón Martínez Miranda, vicepresidente de la unión de transportistas del Valle de Zamora.
Comentó que los choferes no se han quedado sin ser instruidos, pese a que la capacitación resulta costosa para los concesionarios de transporte, pero dijo que finalmente vale la pena ese tipo de inversiones porque avanzan hacia la profesionalización del transporte público que es uno de los objetivos de las rutas.
“Actualmente aplicamos sanciones administrativas a quienes se ven involucrados en faltas de tránsito y además reciben una suspensión por parte del concesionario. Las normas se aplican en base a la gravedad de la falta y para ello tenemos reglamentos internos que nos permiten tener control sobre el proceder de los ruleteros”, subrayó.
Mencionó que además hacen otra inversión en el seguro de viajero y no porque sea una obligación por parte de la Comisión Coordinadora de Transporte (COCOTRA), sino porque cada chofer está consciente de que deben proteger la integridad física de los usuarios y para ello se les ha pedido que conduzcan de manera prudente.
“Establecimos estándares de velocidad al quitar el pago por comisión de pasaje y esa medida nos ha permitido reducir en gran medida la cantidad de incidentes. El siguiente paso será uniformar a los choferes para dar otra imagen a usuarios, pero también a los turistas, ya que se debe potenciar esa actividad en esta localidad”, dijo.
Aceptó finalmente que aún no pueden cantar victoria en el ámbito de la disminución de incidentes viales, ya que falta erradicar el 30 por ciento restante de accidentes, pero también se necesita la participación de la población que conduce unidades particulares.
