Fue registrado el primer incendio forestal del año en la región de Zamora. Más de 11 hectáreas fueron siniestradas de manera intencional rumbo al municipio de Tangamandapio, concretamente en el cerro de la Chuparrosa, en donde hubo afectaciones a la fauna y flora de la zona por las acciones cometidas.
Más de 20 brigadistas de la Comisión Nacional Forestal (CONAFOR) tuvo que actuar en conjunto con cuerpos de auxilio y habitantes de la comunidad para apagar el fuego en la zona y de esa manera evitar más daños en la zona natural, informó personal adscrito a la CONAFOR, en el reporte otorgado para iniciar este año en lo que respecta al temporal de incendios.
“La lluvia, ni las bajas temperaturas de estos días fueron obstáculo para que personas actuaran de manera irresponsable y se generaran esos daños en la zona cerril. Lamentablemente son situaciones con las que nos vamos a topar a lo largo del ciclo, pero estaremos al pendiente para tratar de disipar los incendios en un tiempo breve”, subrayó.
Indicó que uno de los factores que puede incentivar la quema intencional de bosques o áreas de reserva natural es que hay productores agrícolas que desean preparar el terreno para el establecimiento de cultivo de aguacate en la zona; sin embargo, serán las autoridades competentes las que tengan que proceder al respecto.
“Vaticinamos que será un temporal intenso en materia de incendios forestales por las altas temperaturas que se pueden registrar durante el periodo de secas y además porque existe una tendencia marcada en las condiciones del clima de que cuando se registran ambientes gélidos, posteriormente en los meses venideros hace mucho calor”, subrayó.
Mencionó que el riesgo para la región de Zamora es que a consecuencia de los daños ocasionados por incendios forestales se puede elevar la temperatura en la zona y ello provocaría que haya limitaciones en lo que respecta a agua.
“Al no haber una recarga suficiente de los mantos freáticos y no existir las áreas verdes suficientes, es complicado que se presente descargas naturales de agua en las zonas cerriles que finalmente son las que alimentan las presas que se encuentran en esta región de la Entidad”, concluyó.
