Para garantizar una vida libre de violencia para las mujeres michoacanas, Noemí Ramírez Bravo, diputada local del distrito VI de Zamora, presentó una iniciativa de ley que tiene por objetivo garantizar principios de igualdad y cero discriminación al sector femenino, al ser una problemática social que se presenta en diferentes contextos laborales y familiares.
“La violencia contra la mujer es una violación de los derechos humanos, consecuencia de la discriminación que sufre y la persistencia de desigualdades sociales por razón de género, que afecta e impide el avance en muchas áreas, incluidas la erradicación de la pobreza, la lucha contra múltiples enfermedades, la paz y la seguridad”, subrayó la legisladora zamorana durante la presentación de la iniciativa de ley ante el pleno del Congreso del Estado.
Aseguró que su proyecto busca sumar el quehacer de sus compañeros diputados en el esfuerzo permanente para prevenir, atender, sancionar y erradicar la violencia contras las mujeres a través del establecimiento de políticas públicas y acciones gubernamentales que favorezcan su desarrollo y bienestar conforme a los principios de igualdad y de no discriminación.
Mencionó que la ley por una vida libre de violencia para las mujeres en el Estado de Michoacán de Ocampo, en su numeral 9, prevé el concepto de violencia económica, mientras que el artículo 11, se refiere a la violencia laboral; sin embargo consideró necesario ahondar en el rubro que tiene que ver con la brecha salarial que existe en la equidad de género.
“Los puestos de trabajo que ocupan la mayoría de las mujeres están clasificados en un nivel inferior; las diferencias surgen en las competencias, las calificaciones, la antigüedad y los sectores en el empleo. Lamentablemente continúa una gran concentración de mujeres en los sectores denominados flexibles y mal remunerados que son puestos de tiempo parcial, a destajo o temporales, sumado a que no tienen la misma oportunidad de horas extraordinarias que los varones”, dijo.
Subrayó que es momento de cambios estructurales en la perspectiva de género para avanzar hacia la igualdad salarial para hombres y mujeres que contribuyen al desarrollo sostenido y bienestar de Michoacán y México.
Agregó que la aprobación de la iniciativa de ley, con la incorporación de los conceptos de brecha salarial, equidad salarial e igualdad de remuneración podrá solicitar a las autoridades competentes, para que en el ejercicio de sus atribuciones, tengan presente y asuman el compromiso de fortalecer el papel de la mujer entre la sociedad con acciones concretas.
