• A través del Foro “Cuidando la Casa Común”
• Participaran autoridades municipales de la región, sacerdotes, representantes de sociedad civil, instituciones educativas e investigadores

El próximo 9 de abril a las 4 de la tarde en el Seminario Diocesano de esta ciudad se llevará a cabo el foro “Cuidando la Casa Común”, con motivo de la celebración mundial de la madre tierra, según informaron en conferencia de prensa por Jonathan Arias y Néstor Rodríguez Torres, seminaristas especializados en teología; así como José Manuel Preciado, asesor de teología.
Participaran pastores, alcaldes y regidores del medio ambiente de los municipios de Zamora, Jacona, Tangancícuaro, Chilchota, Uruapan, Cotija, Santiago Tangamandapio, entre otros; así como representantes de asociaciones civiles, instituciones educativas públicas y privadas, investigadores, ciudadanos y cristianos.
Revelaron que se trata de que los diversos involucrados generen consignas y compromisos para a su vez realizar acciones preventivas regionales, así como de impacto ecológico, “todos estamos llamados a comprometernos con esta problemática mundial”.
Y es que, abundaron, a través del foro buscan incidir en la generación de políticas públicas encaminadas al cuidado del medio ambiente, el compromiso de renuncia al desechable y generar la infraestructura que contrarreste problemática ecológica.
Informaron que el foro contempla 3 ponencias “crisis ambiental”, a cargo de Carlos Muñoz de la Universidad del Medio Ambiente, con la que se darán a conocer datos estadísticos que nos ponen en alerta sobre el impacto ambiental.
Otra ponencia es “Compromiso de la iglesia de la encíclica laudato Sic” a cargo de la teóloga Rosario Faro y la última es “problemáticas en la teología e indiferencia del cristiano con su entorno ecológico”, a cargo del párroco Manuel Méndez”. Así como trabajos en equipo y la presentación de proyectos de diversas instituciones encaminados al cuidado ecológico.
“Es importante generar una consciencia más amplia del impacto ecológico, ante los cambios preocupantes en cuestión ambiental. Es parte de la consciencia social que como seminaristas debemos propiciar y aplicar”, mencionó.
Admitieron que ya algunas escuelas se han preocupado por no usar desechables, “paso muy bueno, sin embargo aún falta mucho por hacer. La iniciativa surge desde el 2015 ante la encíclica papa Francisco “Laudato Si”, quien hace un llamado comprometernos con este cambio ambiental”
“No únicamente con acciones desarticuladas, sino con cambios de conciencia y actitudes de ética y moral social que se debe fomentar desde el hogar, las aulas, la iglesia y cada una de las trincheras de los diversos actores sociales para trabajar en conjunto”, sostuvieron.
Expresaron, “un cristiano no puede ser ajeno ante las problemáticas ecológicas. Es una competencia de los cristianos cuidar la casa que Dios nos ha dado”.
Para concluir indicaron que una de las políticas públicas favorables que deben implementar los ayuntamientos es la renuncia al desechable, tal como lo ha hecho el ayuntamiento de Pátzcuaro, que ofrecerá una charla informativa en la materia.
